You are members of the Eco City Council. You and your fellow Council Members must make decisions that improve access and sustainability for all people. Work with your peers to choose the best solution for each challenge. How to Play 1. Players: Play this game as a group or individually. To play as a group, read each challenge, discuss your opinions, and choose a solution together. 2. Challenges: Each time you play, you will have 4 challenges that are common access and sustainability issues in cities around the world. 3. Solutions: Each challenge has 3 solution choices. Read and discuss the solutions with your group, then choose the solution that you think will improve access and sustainability the most. 4. Stars: Depending on your choice, your stars for access and sustainability will increase, decrease, or stay the same. You will also see an explanation to help you understand the impact of your choice. 5. Climate Event: Each game has 1 Climate Event. This unexpected event impacts access (-1 star) and sustainability (-1 star) across the city. 6. Notes: As you play, use pages 56 and 57 to record the challenge, your solution, and how it impacts access and sustainability. How to Win To win, you need 4 Access Stars AND 4 Sustainability Stars. This means that you have made choices that make Eco City accessible and sustainable for all people. |
